There’s something about Mary.
I couldn’t resist that line, but seriously, isn’t there? Is it simply that she represents the “Divine feminine,” as some say, and we of the Judeo-Christian traditions (excepting Catholic and Orthodox Christians, anyway) are sorely lacking in this department and she fits the bill?
