Prayers Please
By gartenfische | March 31, 2008
We
bloomed in Spring.
Our bodies
are the leaves of God.
The apparent seasons of life and death
our eyes can suffer;
but our souls, dear, I will just say this forthright:
they are God
Himself,
we will never perish
unless He
does.
-Teresa of Avila
Please pray for my beautiful friend yogamum, whose dad, Mike, died last night after a bout with lung cancer. They were very close. Pray for her in her grief. And for her mother, and her children, and, of course, her father.
Here is a moving post she wrote last week about spending time with her dad in these last days. She truly did give him the gift of her presence.
